Manager, Investment COE Transformation Champion

Job Summary
This role within the Investment Center of Excellence (COE) will provide subject matter expert (SME) level guidance to users of the Company’s investment accounting system, Clearwater. This role will partner with the company’s Finance Modernization and Investment COE close and reporting teams to identify, develop and implement process efficiencies within the Investment COE and enhance Clearwater’s capabilities within the organization. This role will also partner with the Investment COE Special Projects team to assist them in translating accounting outcomes to Clearwater operational functionality. This role is dynamic and fundamental to the overall success of the Company’s effective and efficient onboarding of new transactions that have an impact on the company’s portfolio as well as the improvement and optimization of legacy Investment COE processes.Â
Organization
This role will report to the Director, Investment COE Transformation Champions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Subject matter expert (SME) to users of the Clearwater system, companywide
- Collaborate with Investment COE Special Project group to operationally onboard strategic F&G initiatives impacting the investment portfolio.
- Develop and lead education sessions for the Investment COE Close & Analysis and Reporting teams on the impact of strategic initiatives on business-as-usual processes.Â
- Lead collaboration with departments such as risk, investment strategy and the capital team to identify opportunities to leverage Clearwater to support their business objectives
- Partner with the company’s Finance Modernization and Investment COE close and reporting teams to identify, develop and implement process efficiencies within the Investment COE and enhance Clearwater’s capabilities within the organization.
- Partner with Clearwater SMEs to automate processes and formulate solutions to issues
- Identify, develop and manage the implementation of more efficient close and reporting processes within the Investment COE
- Manage the documentation of identified functionality gaps and requested enhancements to support prioritization within Clearwater
- Provide analytical testing and review of new Clearwater functionality/processes
- Train users on new functionality and processes
Experience and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Investment Accounting
- 7+ years’ experience in Finance or Investment Accounting
- Strong investment accounting and investment accounting process knowledge
- Extensive knowledge of Clearwater system
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Hands on investment accounting and Clearwater experience
- Diverse experience in various finance roles and ability to think broadly
- Ability to work independently partner
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Must be able to foster a collaborative and cross-functional team across distinct business units
- Organized and capable of operating in a structured environment while requiring minimal day-to-day guidance
- Ability to identify and execute process improvements

- Perform other functions, duties and projects as assigned
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Some travel required (less than 10%)
