Manager, Multicultural Marketing

F&G is hiring for a Manager, Multicultural Marketing. This role is accountable for all marketing activity for the Owned Distribution segment with a primary focus on Affiliated Partners and their Multicultural segments. This position will interface primarily with the Head of Product & Planning, VP of Key Accounts, Corporate shared services, as well as the Affiliated Partners.  This position reports directly to the EVP, Head of Owned Distribution. 

Responsibilities

• Manage the Owned Distribution Company marketing efforts to enable the segment to successfully deliver on market growth objectives, brand development & implementation.
• Lead the creation of marketing content to translate our value proposition to financial professionals and consumers, while expanding sales in the segment with both current and new distribution.
• Act as a trusted partner of a small but growing team to help advocate and manage marketing initiatives at various levels of complexity.
• Oversee and coordinate marketing activities of each Owned Distribution Affiliated Partner in which we have taken a majority interest.
• Build our multicultural marketing presence across retail segments where appropriate.  
• Develop multi-faceted promotional marketing approach that engages the producer and positions F&G as a leading provider of life insurance and annuity products specific to multi-cultural markets.
• Support rollout and ongoing promotion of new products, partners and sales concepts.
• Drive innovation in communications—employ engaging content and innovative approaches to maximize business impact and scale communications for Owned Distribution.
• Work within our primary multicultural communities to increase brand recognition for our partners
• Conceptualize content across mediums that bring our life and annuity value proposition to life (case studies, competitive analysis, videos, etc.)
• Manage the development and maintenance of segment product collateral.
• Conduct ongoing review and assessment of existing product support materials to ensure effectiveness, timeliness, and appropriateness with recommendations for improvement.
• Work with our Affiliated Partners to increase digital marketing presence & impact

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree required
• 7+ years of experience in insurance marketing preferred
• Extensive understanding of marketing within multicultural segments required
• Experience with the marketing of life insurance and annuity products required
• Proven content marketing experience, effective in partnering with cross-functional teams and specific experience in multicultural market development.

• Regular and punctual attendance
• Some travel required (10%-20%)
