Manager of Software Quality Assurance Engineering - US Remote
Job Description
Our company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager of Software Quality Assurance to lead our software testing efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. This individual will manage a team of software quality assurance professionals and will be responsible for developing and implementing testing strategies and methodologies, lead and participate in software testing, and ensure that all software products meet established quality standards, while collaborating with development teams to identify and address defects and bugs.

Role Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive software testing strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives.
- Manage a team of software quality assurance professionals, providing leadership and guidance to ensure that team members are productive and motivated.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify defects and bugs, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Establish and maintain quality standards for software products, ensuring that they meet or exceed industry standards.
- Develop and implement testing methodologies, processes, and procedures to ensure that all software products are thoroughly tested and free of defects.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that software products meet user requirements and are delivered on-time and within budget.
- Provide regular reports on the status of software testing efforts to senior management, highlighting any issues or concerns that may impact the delivery of software products.
- Conduct regular reviews of testing processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- 2+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance management position
- 5+ years of experience working as a software QA engineer or equivalent role
- Expert level attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in developing and implementing software testing strategies and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with Agile in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
- Experience with JIRA, Xray, and GitHub
- Experience using Java, Selenium, and TestNG to create automated tests
- Familiarity with JavaScript and JestJS for unit testing
