The Role:
This individual will be working closely with our Assistant Controller and revenue operations leaders across the company to support US GAAP compliant revenue recognition. This role will require initiative to help create process-improvements around the revenue process for a fast-growing company. In addition, this role will manage a team of 3-4 staff and senior accountants. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter who is focused on process improvements and can mentor a team.
What You'll Do:

• Own all aspects of revenue across multiple revenue streams - includes revenue flash, month end reporting, and variance analysis
• Invoicing customers, issuing credit memos, and coding to the correct IS/BS accounts
• Partnering with revenue operations leaders to influence contracts and terms that allow from appropriate US GAPP revenue recognition
• Update revenue tracking sheets as needed
• Manage accounts receivable and DSO tracking
• Interact closely with marketing/sales personnel to keep client accounts up to date
• Participate in month-end close process and assist with compiling reports as requested
• Assist with annual audit, including pulling documentation and support for financial statements
• Identify process improvement opportunities
• Perform additional duties as required by management

Who You Are:

What You've Done:

• You have 3-5 years' experience in a revenue accounting function
• You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• You are experienced with Excel - understanding of complex Excel sheets/formulas
• You have experience with 606 and complex revenue transactions
• You have managed a team
