About This Position


The Manager/ Senior Manager, Procurement will be responsible for engaging with the supply chain and driving equipment supply and EPC contracts independently, primarily focused on equipment procurement, including BESS and modules. This position will report directly to our Principal, Procurement and work closely with the Development, Engineering, Construction, Project Finance and Legal teams.


Responsibilities and Duties

Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s supply chain strategy.

Perform research and analysis in order to identify potential vendors

Engage and build/maintain relationships with key vendors

Lead and manage equipment supply requests for proposals

Structure, negotiate and execute equipment supply contract transactions

Manage contract amendments and post-contract actions

Coordinate with different relevant departments to achieve the goals above

 

 

Qualifications and Skills

4-8+ years of experience in equipment procurement for utility-scale PV, battery, wind or natural gas projects

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with external parties

Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively, and concisely summarize complex ideas

Strong quantitative skills

Highly proficient in MS Office, Excel, MS Teams, and other collaboration tools

Physical and Sensory Requirements

Mostly sedentary work; using standard office equipment including: a computer, keyboard, and telephone.

Position requires some travel for company-wide meetups, conferences, site visits, and factory vistis: ~8 weeks total through a calendar year.

Salary & Benefits


US Salary & Benefits

● Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 base salary with 20-30% annual target bonus

● Medical, dental, and vision plan options with 100% premium coverage for the employee

● 3% non-elective employer contribution to 401k

● Unlimited PTO, plus two company-wide vacation weeks (Fourth of July & end of year), plus [10] holidays

Canada Salary & Benefits

● Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 USD base salary with 20-30% annual target bonus (conversion rate to CAD at 1.3544)

● Extended health benefits plan with plan premiums fully paid by Intersect Power. 

● RRSP Plan with Employer automatic non-elective contribution of 3%
