Location: We are a remote-first company. This role can be based anywhere in the US.

The Opportunity 

Mosaic is searching for a Special Operations Manager to join our Consumer Lending Servicing Group. The group is tasked with providing world class service to Mosaic Solar and Home Improvement customers and investors. This position is responsible to both internal and external customers. 

This role manages various aspects of servicing operations, overseeing internal team members along with relationships with providers of critical services for the servicing platforms. This person is ultimately responsible for owning and driving KPI improvements, vendor performance and operational execution for special ops including lien filing, payoffs, prepayments & lien release, loan assumptions and other special situations. 

Primary responsibilities include: 

• Delivers KPI metrics and drives improvements
• Manages a team comprising in-house and offshore members
• Reviews and redesigns processes to create efficiency 
• Identifies and drives automation opportunities and projects
• Identifies and drives cost savings projects
• Ensures costs are accurately budgeted and tightly managed working closely with finance 
• Drives superior vendor performance consistent with service & quality standards 

Skills/Experience

• Strong background managing in-house team and offshore team members
• Prior experience managing bespoke processes in Loan Servicing that involves working with third parties (e.g. County Recording Offices, Senior Lien holders, Payoff Processing Escrow Agents, Loan Assumption Clients)
• Experience with Consumer Lending Products 
• Strong background in Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) or other Lien filings 
• Experience managing risk mitigation functions while driving both service and quality levels

Qualification 

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
• Current experience managing a consumer loan portfolio and a team of customer service operations personnel 
• 5 years of experience directly related to managing vendor relationships preferred 
• Skilled in process analysis and reengineering operational workflows

Additional Skills 

• Bilingual (English / Spanish) 
• Experience in Financial Services and/or Solar industries 
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Excel, DocuSign, Google suite
