As a part of the Zoom IQ engineering team you will focus on solving cutting edge engineering problems in building ML based applications to solve some of the complex scaling problems in the industry. This person will work be working closely with the ML teams within the AI organization to bring the best product to the market

• Drive the technical and organizational roadmap for the Engineering team
• Lead engineering teams effort to effectively execute product roadmaps and produce quality deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers (i.e. product, design, support) and make strategic influence
• Recruit top technical talent and provide mentorship to organization
• Guide architecture design and solve complex technical challenges as a hands-on leader
• Drive release process, evangelize agile best practices and promote innovation
  Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of people management experience in building and leading geographically distributed engineering teams
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on development experience for large-scale cloud native micro services
• 10+ Years of software engineering experience
• Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science
• Lead and grow a team of exceptional Software Engineers, Leaders
• Experience in enhancing, measuring, and recognizing teams performance
• Proven experience leading large engineering organizations
• Hands on experience in Distributed systems and techniques
• Track record of setting roadmaps, priorities and measuring the progress in achieving them
• Experience with building Java based high performance micro services in the cloud
• Familiarity with large-scale data processing and distributed systems
  Bonus Qualifications
• Deep understanding of AWS Services, Kafka, Elastic search, etc
• Autoscaling, containers, performance tuning and optimization
• Solid understanding of transport protocols, web applications
• Understanding of ML Algorithms
