This position is for an experienced Supply Chain professional, executing strategic supply chain projects in support of the Power and Controls (P&C) portfolio.
This is a highly visible role, which will require the candidate to consistently interface with Senior Leadership and present business progress. This role is intended to offer organizational exposure and is an exciting opportunity for career growth within the Collins businesses.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, sensitivity to timelines, excellent business judgment, be detail oriented, have effective problem-solving skills, be extremely well organized and be results oriented to deliver on customer commitments. Success in the role requires close collaboration with Collins Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) and P&C Strategic Sourcing teams.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Value Stream Leadership (VSL), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure effective supplier management and implementation in supporting program needs and requirements
- Develop and implement Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program goals
- Gate Review preparation and/or support
- Evaluates, recommends, and selects suppliers based on capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness.
- Ensures suppliers are performing to delivery, quality, and cost perspective requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR
- In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with procurement and supply chain modern processes and techniques
- Developing and executing strategic project initiatives and tactical plans
- Manage projects with significant scope and complexity.

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
