Manager, Technical Accounting
for Sentara Healthcare Corporate Office in Norfolk, VA
This position can be 100% remote in the following approved states: FL, GA, IN, MD, NV, SC, SD, TN, TX, WA, WV, WI, VA, and NC
Job Summary:
Identify, research, analyze and document complex accounting issues. Provide technical accounting support in connection with the implementation of various changes in accounting policies and procedures that are prompted as a result of either the adoption of new accounting standards or as a result of newly-executed transactions. Prepares, recommends improvements to, and enforce internal controls systems. Update and maintain charts of accounts. Prepare and review internal and external financial reporting. Perform financial analysis of management reporting. Prepare necessary reconciliations. Coordinate auditing process and response to audit findings. Forecast, plan, and implement accounting changes required by FASB and current healthcare regulations. Perform all other related duties. Serve as finance liaison for due diligence and integration for mergers and acquisitions.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Required
CPA required
Job Requirements:
5 years Accounting experience required

For applicants within Washington State, the following hiring range will be applied: 116,210.64 annually to $160,414.80 annually.
