Manager Technical Operations, India

Position Summary:

The Manager, Technical Operations will support the management of technical workstreams to support product development and project delivery by providing operational management and leadership as well as project management services across QuartzBio’s product portfolio. This position be responsible for effectively managing a local team of team members to accomplish a wide range of software engineering, data management, and systems integration projects, while working with the broader team to to streamline processes to achieve operational efficiency.     

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

• Provide leadership to team of data scientists/bioinformaticians/software engineers responsible for accomplishing client-facing biomarker data management projects.
• Review work product and identify potential issues for review
• Identify opportunities to streamline process for the day-to-day activities of QuartzBio’s data science team
• Support resourcing across QuartzBio’s client portfolio
• Communicate directly with internal subject matter experts (SME) to align on details, strategies, and important aspects of complex data and analyses
• Develop documentation and data specifications
• Collaborate internally with members of other Quartz teams
• Performs work on complex problems of advanced scope and takes the lead in managing projects to completion
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

• Bachelors in Computational Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Biostatistics, Biology, Computer Science or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology or a related field
• At least 3 years of management experience of technical/scientific team members
