The Role:

Carrot is seeking a Tools and Systems Manager to join Carrot’s Global Solutions Department. The Global Solutions team enables our customers (i.e. multinational employers) and their employees to access a global fertility and family-building benefits program inclusive of financial coverage and direct support. Whether a member is pursuing IVF in Mexico, a gestational carrier journey in Canada, or intercountry adoption from Ireland, our team powers Carrot’s operational infrastructure to create a positive employer and employee experience, globally. As part of the Global Solutions Department at Carrot, you will sit on our Global Operations team and work closely with our other regional and functional departments of the Global Solutions team, as well as cross-functionally with other departments at Carrot. 

As a member of the Global Operations team, you will contribute to:

  • Information systems strategy, design, and management across multiple tools - Optimizing tools structure for both back-end data collection and storage and subsequent front-end information distribution for multiple stakeholders and various use cases
    • Establishing department-wide strategy and accountability - For documentation, communication, and information management across Global Solutions
    • Building scalable systems and processes - To establish and or refine metrics-tracking methods and dashboards to enable strategic decision-making
    • Collaborating internally and cross-functionally - Collaborating across Global Solutions teams, Product management, Business Intelligence, Engineering, and other departments to enable success of team and company-wide objectives
  • Optimized data hierarchy - Improving database hierarchy and structure to align with product and business intelligence needs
  • Team development - Lead, mentor, support, and develop a high performing team

The Team: 

The Global Solutions team is comprised of the following divisions: Global Operations (inclusive of global regions, go-to-market support, and tools and systems), Provider Management and Strategy, Program Management, and Global Regulatory Operations. You will be the newest addition to the Global Operations division. This is an exciting opportunity to be in a strategic, analytical, operations, and growth-focused role at a rapidly growing company. You will work closely with each division of the Global Solutions Department, as well as several other teams and individuals at Carrot.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Proficient with 4-5+ years of related professional experience with strengths in:
    • At least 1 year of experience managing direct reports
    • Building and/or maintaining large databases and information systems
    • Establishing team best practices for optimizing and maintaining information across multiple tools, including databases, project management software, and Issue tracking
    • Building dashboards to track key trends and performance metrics to support capacity planning and areas for operational improvement
    • Proven record of success in an operations-focused role
    • Adept at picking up new softwares and applications and able to grasp new concepts quickly

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proficient with Airtable, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and/or Salesforce
  • Past experience with data analytics and/or information systems design
  • Empathy, awareness, and understanding of cultural sensitivities related to reproductive or other healthcare fields are highly desirable

Compensation: 
Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The expected base salary for this position will range from $112,000 - $152,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
