This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Managing Director of Client Services in the United States.

This executive leadership role is responsible for shaping and driving enterprise-level client service delivery across complex, high-stakes engagements. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams spanning project management, operations, and cybersecurity, ensuring consistent execution of defensible, technology-enabled solutions across the full eDiscovery lifecycle. The position requires a strong blend of strategic vision and operational rigor, with accountability for client satisfaction, delivery excellence, and long-term account growth. Acting as a senior advisor to key stakeholders, you will engage with legal, corporate, and government clients at an executive level. You will also play a central role in strengthening governance frameworks, improving operational scalability, and advancing innovation through automation and data-driven workflows. This is a high-impact leadership role in a fast-paced, client-facing environment where precision, trust, and performance are critical.

Accountabilities

  • Lead enterprise client services strategy by ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and high-quality engagement across all client accounts.
  • Oversee Associate Directors to ensure consistent client communication, issue resolution, and alignment of delivery with expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Develop and enforce client governance frameworks, including QBRs, reporting standards, and structured client playbooks.
  • Drive operational excellence across project management, operations, and cyber teams, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and quality across all workflows.
  • Lead execution of complex, high-risk, and high-volume matters, including resourcing strategy, workflow design, escalation management, and delivery oversight.
  • Partner with Sales and Advisory teams on solution design, pricing, RFPs, and account expansion strategies.
  • Own financial performance across the portfolio, including revenue, margin, forecasting, utilization, and overall profitability.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation, including automation, analytics, and AI-enabled delivery enhancements.
  • Mentor and develop senior leaders, strengthening delegation, accountability, and leadership capability across teams.

  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Operations, Project Management, or a related field.
    • 10+ years of experience in eDiscovery, legal technology, or complex client services environments with deep understanding of the litigation lifecycle and EDRM framework.
    • 5+ years of leadership experience managing client services, operations, or cross-functional delivery teams at scale.
    • Strong expertise in managing enterprise client relationships and translating client needs into scalable operational solutions.
    • Experience with Relativity and related eDiscovery platforms; Relativity Certified Administrator preferred.
    • Proven ability to oversee multiple concurrent, high-value engagements with strong financial and operational accountability.
    • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, including attorneys and government or corporate clients.
    • Deep understanding of structured delivery methodologies such as RACI and project scheduling frameworks.
    • Strong leadership, delegation, and team development capabilities with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
    • Ability to perform in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction.
