Marathon Senior Gameplay Engineer - AI

As a Senior AI Engineer at Bungie, you will collaborate with designers and engineers to build the Artificial Intelligence technology that brings Marathon's simulated combatants to life. You will learn how Bungie’s AI systems work, you will work within our networked gameplay architecture, and you will help empower our content creators in building dynamic characters that populate an evolving multiplayer living world. Most importantly, you will work with a fun, talented, and energetic team invested in creating a new, world-class gaming experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain production quality C++ code
• Provide strategic input for the scalability, performance, and usability of proposed AI features
• Collaborate daily with a cross-disciplinary team to build amazing new experiences
• Learn, extend, and maintain content production workflows and tools

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Solve AI engineering challenges within scope and performance considerations
• Proficiency in 3D math, data structures, algorithms, and C++ architecture and debugging
• Collaborate with fellow engineers to plan, craft, and review code
• Build strong working relationships both within and outside of your discipline
