Marketing Consultant - Protection Products Marketing Team
(Full-Time/Hybrid, Boston or Springfield, MA)
The Opportunity
As a Marketing Consultant, you will support omni-channel marketing campaign development, and content creation for MassMutual life insurance products. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, creative writing experience, and the ability to build relationships and collaborate closely with stakeholders. You will have immediate impact and the opportunity to interface with marketers and product experts throughout the organization.
The Team
This role is part of the Product Marketing Strategy group that is responsible for crafting clear and compelling stories, and comprehensive omni-channel marketing campaigns to drive product sales by increasing financial professional and client engagement. We are a highly collaborative team that supports marketing needs across all MassMutual product lines and distribution channels. We work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on attention-to-detail, agility and follow-through. MassMutual is looking to grow their household penetration and overall revenue through new and existing distribution channels, and we are integral to that strategy.
The Impact
Key Responsibilities
As a Marketing Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Development of key content and materials, focusing on life insurance initiatives. Product launch support and sales enablement materials will make up the body of this work.
- Partner with creative and other marketing centers of excellence to create impactful marketing content.
- Engage product specialists, compliance and legal to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of marketing content.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand audience needs, obtain buy-in and improve messaging of materials and campaign content.
- Engage with marketing operations to ensure proper placement, tagging and inventory of content within our technology solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years of Marketing experience
Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven written communication skills, with demonstrated creative content development
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Collaborative approach and ability work in a cross functional team
- Great project management skills with the ability to problem-solve and identify process efficiencies and improvements
- 5+ years of experience in financial services marketing, developing Omni-channel campaigns for B2B and B2C audiences

Salary Range: $74,300.00-$97,500.00
