Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
First Entertainment Credit Union is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support the Marketing and Business Development teams by helping execute the daily operational needs. This includes active collaboration with teammates within the department, vendors, freelancers, and other departments as needed.
The Marketing Coordinator will facilitate the successful and timely completion of projects by completing tasks that vary from print and vendor coordination to event planning and ordering of branded items, scheduling emails and promotion launches, implementing edits to creative, capturing and editing videos, and more. They will also help represent the Marketing department at events and in the entertainment community.
This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity reporting to the VP, Marketing and Business Development and is based in Hollywood, CA. The minimum and maximum salary range for this position is $20.26 to $30.39 in California. The target starting hourly rate is between $20.26 and $25.33.
Responsibilities
· Help keep the department operationally organized by executing tasks to ensure promotions and events are completed on-time, on-budget and in support of the Strategic Objectives of the Credit Union.
· Ensure department operational efficiency by assisting with the marketing calendar, project list, and trafficking help desk tickets.
· Coordinate key information and materials with other departments and outside vendors, including printers, signage, branded items, the marketing storefront, and digital signage.
· Assist with implementation of marketing programs for the Credit Union across all channels, including the website, social media, Digital and Mobile banking, in print, branches, events, advertising, public relations, corporate communications, and more.
· Serve as the main liaison between the marketing department and retail. Is responsible for performing monthly branch audits, keeping all branch materials, both print and digital collaterals, updated and on-brand.
· Provide graphic design and content creation support, including writing, revising, capturing, filming or editing marketing materials, forms, or video content.
· Act as an additional set of eyes to ensure First Entertainment brand integrity is upheld and materials produced/distributed are free from errors.
· Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud to provide back-up support to in-house graphic designer by creating materials using templates provided and/or making any required updates or edits to materials and images to get them finalized for production.
· Coordinate details for and execute annual regulatory mailings to members.
· Provide administrative support such as, but not limited to, vendor management, intranet updates, events, vendor RFPs and onboarding.

Requirements
· College graduate or equivalent work experience. Degree in marketing or related field desirable.
· One to three years of experience in marketing, project management, or related field preferred.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe programs. Social media management and marketing automation system knowledge, such as Sprout is preferred.
· Thorough knowledge of regulations applicable to essential responsibilities. Ability to read, speak and write clearly to convey information effectively.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Advanced understanding of marketing concepts and delivery channels including direct mail, email, social media, and more.
· Knowledgeable about marketing practices, as well as trends and emerging methods.
· Adobe Creative Cloud experience with a keen eye for details
· General knowledge of financial services industry.
