Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute comprehensive promotional marketing materials for Attendee and Exhibitor marketing, including partner programs and sponsorships
- Execute and track direct marketing campaigns to attract audiences to tradeshows, online products, and thought leadership assets
- Support inbound marketing programs through increased visibility of online content, including social media sites, to drive traffic to event and product sites
- Help create, edit, and proofread compelling copy for websites, landing pages, brochures, emails, press releases, etc.
- Work with marketing manager to ensure that all brand attributes and messaging are consistent across all communications, including email, print, social media, and websites
- Work with internal team members and freelancers to develop electronic marketing materials including website content, digital assets, social posts and creative, and marketing emails to drive webinar enrollments
- Serve as primary liaison to the editorial teams to coordinate and compile sponsored materials in time to meet promotional deadlines
- Manage marketing technology tools to segment and deliver messaging so they support and align with primary outbound marketing programs
- Coordinate pre-event show ship and onsite logistics for internal product team, including booth design, keeping an up-to-date inventory of all marketing promotional supplies, compiling content for the conference mobile app, and helping marketing manager create and order collateral and promotional giveaways for onsite promotion and acquisition
- Assist with creating registration set-up letter and testing registration sites before launch
- Sponsor/Exhibitor marketing email deployment (working with sponsor sales and Marketing Manager to create a schedule)
Knowledge:
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, English, or related field required
- 4+ years of marketing experience
- Experience using content management systems
- Experience using marketing automation software and social media marketing platforms
- Digital knowledge and design skills desired (including Formstack, Smartsheets, Adobe Photoshop, and/or Canva)
Skills:
- Proficiency in WordPress, Marketo, Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva, and MS Office
- Experience with Hootsuite and/or Buffer
- Strong copywriting and editing skills
- Strong interpersonal communications and collaborative attitude
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong project management, planning and organizational skills and attention to detail
- Customer service oriented
- High interest in continuous learning and the ability to adapt quickly

Travel: Some domestic travel required; COVID vaccine required for business travel.
