Marketing Data Analysts (Internal Job Opening)
Job Description
First Advantage is seeking a sharp analytically minded Marketing Data Analyst to empower our B2B marketing strategy with data-driven insights. This role will be an integral part of the Marketing Operations & Analytics team responsible for combining information from all Marketing core systems to enable real-time data-driven decisions. The primary focus of this position is to lead the data management and reporting capabilities of our CRM Salesforce.com and our Marketing Automation Platform HubSpot. You will transform raw data into actionable intelligence with an emphasis on analyzing business and process requirements while also supporting critical data quality initiatives. The role involves significant interaction with Marketing and Sales Leadership as well as cross-functional Marketing and Operations teams to define needs draft specifications and implement robust reporting solutions. Analysts work in a dynamic fast-paced environment interfacing directly with internal stakeholders. This position will play an integral role in the success of the group. The ideal candidate will have a passion for database marketing superb attention to detail strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Synthesis & Analysis β Extract combine and analyze large datasets from multiple sources (Salesforce HubSpot web analytics ad platforms) using SQL to uncover trends diagnose performance and measure marketing effectiveness across the B2B funnel

CRM & MAP Stewardship β Lead the reporting and data management for Salesforce.com and HubSpot. Ensure data integrity build foundational dashboards and serve as the go-to expert for marketing data structure and flow

Reporting & Dashboarding β Build maintain and automate clear compelling dashboards and reports to track key B2B metrics (e.g. lead velocity MQL-to-SQL conversion campaign attribution channel ROI account engagement).

Stakeholder Collaboration β Interface with Marketing Sales and Operations teams to gather requirements translate business questions into analytical projects and present findings to drive strategic decisions.

Campaign & Channel Performance β Conduct deep-dive analyses on integrated marketing campaigns (digital email events content) to evaluate performance optimize spend and guide future strategy.

Data Quality & Process Analysis β Proactively analyze and support data quality requirements. Evaluate business processes to recommend improvements that enhance data capture and usability.

Attribution Modeling β Assist in refining multi-touch attribution models to better understand the customer journey and touchpoint influence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a marketing analytics business intelligence or data analysis role with a focus on B2B marketing.

Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction transformation and joining complex datasets from multiple databases.

Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com and HubSpot β including deep understanding of core objects fields campaign tracking and reporting modules.

Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders define requirements and implement reporting solutions that meet business needs.

Superb attention to detail a passion for data integrity and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and storytelling skills with experience in statistical analysis A/B testing and ROI measurement.

Excellent communication and presentation skills for interacting with all levels of leadership.
Education and Experience

Bachelorβs degree required; Business Economics Mathematics Statistics Communications majors all work well. Preferably with significant coursework in mathematics or statistics.

Experience: This role within Marketing Operations requires a minimum of 4 years of solid work experience in a role that required critical thinking skills data analysis andΒ sales & marketing engagement. Demonstrated ability to write and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences is critical to this role. Experience required in using Microsoft Excel to analyze data. Experience with SQL and Power BI or equivalent is preferred.
