Job Summary

This role prepares and manages data that is relevant for marketing activities, such a predictive modeling, campaign execution, reporting and customer segmentation.

The role is essential to the success of the marketing organization's effort to: • Offer marketing services to internal clients.• Identify population segments and channel preferences.• Select prospects most likely to purchase.• Identify customers most likely to attrite (cancel).• Influence customer behavior. • Acquire new customers and retain existing customers. • Maximize the value of Florida Blue products for the customer.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Support building and maintaining databases to store business data as well as build interfaces for users of data analysis to view and interact with results.
  • Support processing complex, large scale data sets utilized for predictive modeling, consumer profiling, segmentation, research, and campaign execution.
  • Data cleansing, automation and manipulation.
  • Assist in designing/building processes to onboard new internal clients.
  • Responsible for supporting complex projects with a focus on collecting, parsing, managing, analyzing, and visualizing large sets of data to turn information into insights using multiple platforms.
  • Responsible for portions of design, development, daily support, and success of the lead processing.
  • Contribute to development of back-end systems for information aggregation, manipulation, and storage in support of data science projects.
  • Support for analyzing the efficiency and performance of the marketing infrastructure and implementing changes that will improve processes, procedures or increase efficiency.

What You Must Have:
5+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education to include demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and manipulating business databases with strong emphasis on data quality

Strong knowledge working with large datasets and process automation techniques

Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience Statistics, Math, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems/Management

Additional Required Qualifications

Experience with SQL, Stored Procedures, Unix Perl scripts Shell scripts, and data warehouse ETL process.
Experience with ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, Alteryx, Red Point Data Management, etc.

Ability to create automations and job triggers for repetitive processes.

Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, IMS, MS SQL

Demonstrated high level of expertise in multiple programming languages (e.g., SAS, R, Python, C++, Java, Cobol, VB, Access etc.)

Ability to translate business requirements into technical design requirements in order to design solutions to meet business problems
Experience and understanding of database marketing and Internet marketing principles
Technical knowledge and the ability to develop system specifications, information models, process flow and workflows
Experience using multiple inputs from sources including legacy systems, external vendors and corporate databases using a variety of tools and technologies.
Experience with data conversion / transfer of data between a variety of platforms

Ability to manage and implement relational databases and their environments in support of marketing information repository
Knowledge and experience with project management methodologies and development lifecycle including implementation procedures

What We Would Prefer You Have:
Master's degree Statistics, Math, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems/Management

Knowledge and experience with Data Mining and Predictive Modeling tools (Enterprise Miner preferred).

Expertise with health insurance

Knowledge and experience with Business Intelligence tools, such as PowerBi and Tableau, and concepts

Knowledge, understanding and experience with marketing and sales campaigns, sales channels, lead fulfillment systems, call center and e-marketing systems

General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
