The Opportunity

This position works out of Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care Division. We're focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We're revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

As a Marketing Manager, Global Brand Campaigns you will be responsible for marrying the strategy with the execution by developing the communication strategy of the brand, translating the FreeStyle Brand foundations into a creative platform that will inform the development, implementation, and management of the global creative integrated campaign(s) for the FreeStyle Libre system; including campaign(s) that target all persons living with diabetes, regardless of type; as well as healthcare provider (HCP) campaign(s). This role will work closely with different international stakeholders across the organization and lead a team that will implement programs and integrated campaigns that drive awareness, preference, and advocacy for the FreeStyle Libre brand.

This role will report to the Global Brand Management Director. This person needs to bring strategy experience and track record for execution to marcom strategies and initiatives that will increase our brand recognition and bring to life our brand foundations. This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.

What You'll Work On

  • Translate Commercial Needs and overall Brand Strategy into creative campaigns Owns the global creative platform and creative campaign(s) strategy
  • Leads the development of omni-channel content that cuts through the noise and ensure global comms are on-message and maximizing each channel.
  • Guides brand messaging and voice into creative executions.
  • Stay current on our markets, industry trends and competitive landscape to inform corporate narratives and positioning.
  • Partners with product marketing and Public Affairs to develop the pipeline for mutually beneficial strategic communications with customers and partners
  • Leads the core agency relationships
  • Leads the development of the big creative idea and partners with key stakeholders
  • Ensure campaign development and execution align with the brand strategy while allowing localization per Area and/or country.
  • Leads the internal relationship with Global Market Insights to coordinate campaign market research in key markets, feedback consolidation, and reporting to leadership.
  • Manages Production and agency fees budget Partners with key stakeholders, including legal and compliance, Area and key country marketing, Global marketing, and leadership Establishes priorities, set, optimize, and manage KPIs.
  • Objectively measures effectiveness in partnership to the Insights team and leads the iteration to optimize results (reach, impact and effectiveness).
  • Manager of a team that includes one Sr. Brand Manager and a Brand Manager.

Pay

The salary range for this position is 135,700 - 271,500K based on experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Six years marketing experience with a minimum of four years in product marketing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Membership based companies is highly preferred.
  • 8+ years' experience in brand marketing
  • Proven ability to build relationships and navigate complex, external organizations to identify internal champions and influence decision-makers
  • Strong negotiation skills, with an emphasis on driving partner value
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong collaborator who can build relationships across the organization
  • Ability to context switch and ramp up quickly on new topics
  • Clear communication, structured thinking, organization, and project management skills
  • Experience working with creative and strategic agencies
  • Able to work on multiple strategic assignments at once, in a deadline driven, matrixed environment
  • Highly motivated, self-started, independent, resourceful, proactive
  • Proven record of develop and motivate a team.
