This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We believe people with diabetes should have the freedom to enjoy active lives. We're revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
The Marketing Manager, Operations position supports the US commercial business and resides within the US Marketing organization.
What You'll Work On
- Serves as subject-matter expert on marketing compliance, ensuring well-coordinated efforts between marketing and cross-functions, including Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Office of Ethics & Compliance.
- Supervises cross-channel, cross-functional processes, including Advertising/Promotion, brand compliance and procurement planning.
- Works closely with Marketing, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance to gather input and feedback on processes; recommends improvements, proposes changes, champions implementation; and analyzes effectiveness.
- Identifies long-term cross-functional needs to enable best-in-class marketing and champions processes to meet business needs.
- Oversees salesforce sampling compliance activities, including HCP-related and consumer sampling programs.
- Provides oversight, communications and goal tracking between Marketing channels and cross-functional teams.
- Supports planning activities, including annual tactical planning and monthly management reviews.
- Defines scalable solutions and plans for marketing operations, supports prioritization of marketing initiatives; leads and develops a team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 6+ years of related experience (Advertising and promotion, project management, marketing and sales operations)
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill sets in promotional program and materials development for the professional, consumer, and retail market audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with US Regulatory Affairs Advertising and Promotion processes preferred
- Experience with, or understanding of agile approaches to business compliance allowing for rapid content review a plus
- Knowledge of Veeva tool preferred
