Role overview:Â
The Marketing Operations Manager oversees strategic and operational Marketing initiatives to drive marketing performance improvements, continuously enhance the impact of marketing and help Propeller Industries along its fast growth trajectory.
The Marketing Operations Manager collaborates with other functions to structure problems, conduct analysis and drive to solutions. This role is expected to effectively influence, align and collaborate with teams like Sales, Finance, Technology, Business Intelligence and Compliance/Legal.
Responsibilities:Â Â
- Drive marketing process optimization and improvements, project management, productivity programs, lead management and sales enablement.
- Partner with Technology and other team members to use the marketing technology stack (digital, asset management, web, project management, etc.) and marketing data (data governance, accuracy, and quality) to enable more personalized marketing experiences.
- Maintain Marketing technology stack performance. Be proactive and review functionality, workflow, and updating configuration where needed.
- Drive end-to-end marketing process improvements across the whole team from intake, creative development (copy and design), deployment, analytics and optimization.
- Responsible for the definition, automation and streamlining marketing operations processes.
- Partner with Propeller’s Business Intelligence and Marketing leadership to deliver operational efficificiences and critical metrics such as on-time delivery, accuracy, throughput, and other efficiency metrics as appropriate.
- Develop marketing performance effectiveness dashboards to digital analytics, funnel analytics, database health and other vital dashboards.
- Partner with Sales, Finance and other teams to improve sales and marketing alignment to deliver improved MQLs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure we are using our external agencies to support over-flow and scale up as volume increases while still maintaining 100% accuracy and on time delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of experience in B2B Marketing Operations or related role
- 3 years of experience with modern marketing and sales development solutions such as Salesforce (including Market Cloud and Pardot), Marketo
- Proficiency with Excel
- Proficiency with reporting and business intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge and ability to direct a team and 3rd party resources to develop marketing content
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills including the ability to apply knowledge and understanding of complex processes and data sources to make strong recommendations
- Go-to on complex projects or programs. Demonstrated ability to set proper time and resource expectations with stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
- Works effectively and diligently with or without deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
