As our Project Manager you will…
The Project Manager will assist MERGE’s team and clients during the entire lifecycle of a project. In this role, the successful candidate will manage the deliverables, scope, budget and timeline of each project as well as maintain the client expectations and relationship. The Project Manager will also provide an ongoing status of his projects to the Consulting Services Management Team.
Be Accountable and Responsible
- Because our clients are mostly in Eastern Standard Time, Project Managers must be ready to work a schedule based on the Eastern Standard Time zone.Â
- Each project manager has a portfolio of 8-15 B2B marketing operations clients.Â
- Each project manager is assigned to a project team that includes a Director of Services and 4-6 technical consultants. The consultants on the team spend 80% of their time on your clients, and 20% of their time on cross-team projects.Â
- Your role is to protect the consultants time, nurture the relationship with the client and ensure win-win situations.Â
- Establish a client-service and teamwork mindset as part of a highly collaborative work environment
These are the qualifications we’re looking for
- 5+ years of project management experience in a fast paced, digital environment
- Previous experience in a B2B client-facing positionÂ
- Ability to effectively communicate with and persuade cross-functional partners and align prioritization across teams.
- Familiarity with different project management methodologies, understanding of marketing technology tools is a plus.
- Track record of collaborating with a large and varied group of cross-functional teams and partners to tackle ambiguous problems and make forward progress.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on:
- Facilitation and negotiation
- Interpersonal communication with technical and non-technical individuals
- Presentation, written and verbal skills with all levels of management including strength in balancing the right amount of detail for each audienceÂ
- Strong process orientation and organizational skillsÂ
- Experience with budget reconciliation and forecasting revenue
- Agency experience an asset
- 4+ year College or University degree or equivalent experience
