Mathematical Engineer

In addition, we’re hard at work creating casino and sports betting games for distribution to casino and sportsbook operators in the legal U.S. and international iGaming markets. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other members of the innovation and mathematics team to create an award-winning game experience
• Innovate new game designs with all members of the casino team and create mathematical models as well as par sheets 
• Implement new features and designs within an existing backend framework
• Participate in game concept creation meetings in collaboration with Creative Directors and Product Team
• Partner with all game development team members including artists, engineers, and product managers throughout the development process
• Consult on game design and mathematics for sports games
• Benchmark and provide competitive analysis on the market to identify new concepts
• Test game math and ensure appropriate quality and qualifications
• Assist in play testing all games and provide thorough feedback
• Help improve processes around innovation and game design
• Assist in compliance testing and regulation standards

Qualifications:

• Previous casino game design experience
• Prior programming experience with simulation and calculation code
• Understanding of timeline-driven development
• Superior time-management and organizational skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Candor, integrity, and a collegial approach to work

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Kotlin and/or Java
• Experience with client-server communication and related protocols
• Experience in improving products based on data-driven user experience
• Experience working in a highly motivated fast-paced environment

Our target compensation for this position is between $90,000 and $110,000, depending on experience. Compensation is just the beginning, and below you will find more reasons Why you should work here.
