Job Title:Medicare Services Coordinator (Temp) Location:On-site | Commerce, CA Schedule:Full-time | Start time: 8:00 AM or 8:30 AM Pay Rate:$24 – $26/hour Assignment Type:Temporary (a few months) Summary: Join our team as a Medicare Services Coordinator, supporting newly enrolled senior plan members with onboarding and benefit coordination. You will serve as the primary point of contact during the first 45 days of enrollment, helping members navigate their healthcare benefits, schedule assessments, and access services such as transportation. This is a call center-based role requiring excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: • Make welcome calls and conduct benefit orientations for new Medicare members • Coordinate services including Medicare Health Assessments, transportation, and follow-ups • Identify and address member needs, escalating complex issues as appropriate • Ensure timely documentation and maintain thorough records in data systems • Collaborate with providers and internal departments to ensure seamless care Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Minimum 3 years in healthcare customer service, care coordination, or managed care (IPA, HMO, or Health Plan) • Familiarity with Medi-Cal, Medicare, Commercial, and government healthcare programs • Bilingual English/Spanish required • Strong communication, empathy, and problem-resolution skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare data systems; EPIC experience a plus Preferred: • Background as a Medical Assistant, LVN, or bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field • Experience working with diverse senior populations • Previous call center or healthcare sales support experience Note:EPIC training will be provided. Strong customer service skills in a fast-paced call center environment are essential.
