T-Rex is looking to select a Metrics Lead to work directly with the Government DHMSM Division Lead to develop the vision and roadmap to define and collect metrics related to adoption of MHS GENESIS and related capability releases and alert leadership of Military Training Facility’s adoption readiness posture.
The PEO Defense Healthcare Management System (DHMS) is transforming the delivery of health care and advance data sharing through a modernized electronic health record for service members, veterans and their families. The Workforce 3.0 program within DHMS is a managed solution that leverages innovative new processes, methods, and best-in-class methodologies from the private sector to enable the entire PEO DHMS workforce to deliver world-class technology. The DHMS systems provide important health IT capabilities to 9.6 million active military, their families, and their beneficiaries. Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage the project’s ITSM metrics and measurement program for the DHMSM program office across several divisions
- Lead the definition and measurement of success metrics and monitor metric reporting.
- Work with program management and technical teams to establish quantitative measures of progress and quality based on project objectives and success factors
- Define, analyze and present appropriate metrics as part of the continual service improvement lifecycle.
- Maintain supporting documentation as needed (i.e., data dictionary, related SOPs)
- Establish roadmap for implementation of metrics and dashboards
- Collaborate across multiple teams to identify and gather related data elements
- Identify and document processes and procedures for collecting and reporting metrics
- Identify risks and prepare risk mitigation tactics
- Communicate any trending issues to leadership and impacted stakeholders to influence necessary change
- Develop automation and a real-time, updatable dashboard
- Design outcome-based reports for various stakeholders (e.g., program leadership, site-level leadership)
- Support training and communication efforts
- Support and engage senior leaders and coordinate efforts with other specialists
- Track and report issues
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of recent and relevant Metrics experience and project management experience
- Prior experience building and managing a successful ITSM metrics program
- Ability to determine data presentation methods for best insight and understanding, ex. bar graphs, histogram, pie charts, line graph, multi-factor, etc.
- Knowledge of Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Suites,
- Experience with report design, development and scheduling utilizing Business Intelligence tools
- Ability to determine process measures and track to determine process effectiveness and efficiency.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or another similar discipline
- Project management training or certifications preferred
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with ServiceNow
- ITILv4 Certification desired
- Natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Ability to analyze problems and determine root cause, generating alternatives, evaluating and selecting alternatives and implementing solutions.

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $165,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
