What is Cool About This Job
As the Procurement Manager at WP Engine, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving end-to-end procurement management. You will establish procurement policies and governance, develop cost-effective strategies, and negotiate the best deals with vendors to support our mission of powering the world's digital experiences. You'll maintain strong relationships with suppliers, evaluate spending operations, and collaborate closely with the Legal and FP&A teams to ensure we're always delivering excellence. The Day-To-Day

• Responsible for end-end procurement management i.e. understanding the business need, budget allocation, conducting RFI/RFP process, selection of the right vendor, contract negotiation, execution and onboarding of the vendor/services.
• Establish procurement policy and related governance for all vendor contracts in the company
• Develop sound cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of software, hardware and services. Conduct cost analyses and set benchmarks for improvement
• Conduct price and terms negotiation with vendors, procuring the best discounts for the company
• Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually looking for the best alternatives for cost and feature effectiveness
• Work alongside the FP&A team to evaluate spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries
• Close partnership with the Legal Team to ensure contract terms are in favor of the company
• Proactive renewal management and timely execution of the renewal contracts
• Effective and periodic communication with the leadership team regarding the procurement progress against the plan

Your Skills and Expertise
We are looking for someone who thrives on working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, and who is motivated to delight customers:

• You have at least 7+ years of experience in procurement and purchasing management with a minimum of 3 years of experience in SaaS industry is required
• You have sound knowledge in Coupa, Net Suite, MS Excel, Google sheets, and related procurement software
• You are an expert at negotiating and influencing vendors to drive the best outcomes in favor of the company
• Being solely responsible for the procurement function, you should be a self starter, have the willingness to wear multiple hats and drive end to end procurement management for the organization
• Ability to independently manage individual time and tasks
• You are quick to adapt to new requirements, changing situations and learn new technologies that aid procurement management
• One of your natural talents is interpersonal skills. You are a team player and a people person
• You thrive in a fast-moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
• You operate with a sense of urgency and have the ability to prioritize task and unplanned requests with ease
• You have the ability to adapt your presentation style (both verbal and written content) for internal and external audiences
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent 4 year degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field from an accredited institution preferred

Base Salary Range
$96,000.00 - $144,000.00
We believe that compensation should be reflective of the impact you have within the organization relative to the market value of your role. The estimated base salary range for this position is as listed above. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Our salary ranges are determined by job role and responsibilities and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for salaries for the position nationwide. The actual base pay will vary based on various factors including job-related skills and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
