MIG Welder / Manual Machinist

Role and Responsibilities CMSP is now hiring a Machinist / Welder for a manufacturing facility of Lift Gates and Lift Gate components for research and development facility. The site mainly focuses in the process of developing, testing and taking apart new products. Requirements: Minimum Work Experience & Skills: • At least 5 years of experience operating manual lathes and milling machines. • Candidates with 3-4 years of experience plus machining training/certification will also be considered. • Minimum 3 years of MIG welding experience on aluminum. • Candidates with 2 years of experience plus welding training/certification may also be considered. • Experience operating a sit-down forklift. • Ability to safely operate manual torch cutting and plasma equipment. • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, including welding symbols. • Fabrication skills are a strong plus. Work Schedule:1st shift: Monday-Thursday: 7am-3:30pm & Fridays: 6am-2:30pm Job Type: Full-time Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour Experience: • Manual Machining: 5 years (Preferred) • MIG welding: 3 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: • Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
