General Summary
Position will focus on mobility business unit activities including but not limited to, application management, RFQ monitoring, balanced score card alignment, and Salesforce. The position will be responsible for data collection, monitoring, analysis, and presentation to sr. management. This person will be able to comprehend the data and identify trends, anomalies, and requirements to reach metrics.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Understand Murata tools such as PowerBI, SFDC, IHA, Sharepoint, etc.
- Understand Murata mobility applications as they relate to BU promotion strategies and overall market trends.
- Translate data into understandable format using tools such as, but not limited to, excel and powerpoint.
- Monitor industry news and integrate relevant information into regular reports.
- Set up and maintain scheduled reviews with appropriate teams, set action items and goals with teams, progress follow up, and review results with team members and sr. management.
- Align team action items with BSC and mobility targets, including G-APP KPI's.
Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities
- Supports sales activity for specific applications and collaborates with Business Development Engineers.
- Work requires the ability to analyze problems where established procedures may not exist.
- Perform other job-related responsibilities and duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Marketing.
- One year's job-related experience.
- Experience managing and analyzing substantial amounts of sales and price data.
- Demonstrated proficiency showing responsibility and capability for continuous improvement of job.
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal skills including effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Well-developed facilitation skills to work among individuals from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds.
- Well-developed presentation skills.
- Must possess typing skills for accurate data entry.
- Strong PC proficiency including Internet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access), and Windows.
- Experience maintaining high levels of confidentiality with regards to company strategy and customers' information.
- Must be adaptable and be able to consistently deal with ever-changing conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bi-lingual Japanese verbal and written communication skills.
- Detailed knowledge of all Murata's technical and business operations.
- Financial, communication, and project management skills.
Travel
Infrequent travel.
