POSITION SUMMARY

Provides continuous cardiac monitor observation and the documentation of patient’s rhythm on both a routinely designated schedule and episodically for changes in the patient’s baseline rhythm or for any arrhythmias should they develop. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications

Education:

• High School graduation or equivalent and successful completion of basic EKG course or proficiency of test for same. Advanced EKG courses desired.

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:

• Basic Life Support
• Successful Completion of Basic EKG Course

Minimum Experience

None. Six months to 1 year experience preferred.
