Since 2017 Flourish has been on a mission to help financial advisors evolve from holistic advice to holistic implementation to more fully serve their clients and achieve better outcomes. We focus on independent Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) delivering financial products that advisors can’t easily access today through beautiful scalable and easy-to-use technology.
Today we work with over 1000 RIAs that collectively represent more than $2.6T in assets under management across two products — Flourish Annuities and Flourish Cash — and with our recent acquisition of Sora Finance we’ll be adding a lending offering in 2026. You are an ambitious self-starter who is looking to join a new division of a fast-growing fintech as one our first Mortgage Loan Officers. You love providing truly white-glove client support and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills — with an established track record of successfully managing a large pipeline of home loans. With deep knowledge of the mortgage industry you can leverage your consultative skills to help educate clients on the best available products to them.
You’re equally adept at working with internal partners across the organization as you are in gracefully handling complicated communication directly with clients. You’re excited to join a small growing team at a fast-paced fintech as you are extremely self-motivated excited to contribute to building a lending program from the ground up love identifying and solving problems and are motivated by the prospect of driving change in the lending industry.
About the RoleAs a Mortgage Loan Officer on the Flourish team you will be tasked with providing our clients with an exceptional borrowing experience while also contributing to teamwide efforts in developing a recently-launched business line. Your primary responsibility will be to quickly and seamlessly execute home financings by working directly with financial advisors and their clients prioritizing speed of responsiveness and white-glove service throughout the entirety of the loan lifecycle with all opportunities sourced through a unique new distribution channel. At the same time you will contribute to our overall efforts in building out the business line whether that is in assisting in development of new policies and procedures trialing new software or suggesting countless improvements as we work to improve everything from the client experience to speed of closing.
Principal Responsibilities- Consult and educate clients to assess their financing needs and guide them toward the most suitable mortgage solutions helping them secure the best financial outcomes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors collaborating to create a seamless and positive home-buying experience for end clients
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all home financing inquiries providing expert knowledge on key products particularly jumbo transactions
- Manage an ongoing pipeline of loans focusing primarily on home purchases refinances and HELOCs
- Drive a best-in-class conversion funnel leveraging data to inform actions
- Work cross-functionally across product operations and technology to ensure optimal customer outcomes
- Manage your loan pipeline to ensure you are always on top of client communications even if it occasionally requires work outside non-standard business hours
- Obtain mortgage licensing in an estimated 15-20 states with support from Flourish for registration and ongoing continuing education
- Maintain excellent communication with internal Flourish leadership and stakeholders
- Exercise considerable judgment and analysis to arrive at recommendations and/or conclusions
- Stay current on general trends in the financial markets and mortgage industry with a focus on wealth management and lending
- This position is expected to be able to support across the continental US time zones
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of mortgage lending experience
- Active NMLS license or registration
- Expertise in mortgage guidelines including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac with a preference for experience in Jumbo and non-QM loans
- Position is based in Dallas requiring residency in the Greater DFW area
- Due to the nature of this position as part of the background check process candidates must be able to pass a fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA. For roles requiring registration additional regulatory screenings may apply including a review of Form U5 disclosures and other relevant licensing information
- Strong relationship-building abilities ensuring clear and timely communication with advisors borrowers and agents
- Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems as the mortgage industry evolves
- Mortgage licensed in multiple states

Base Salary Range: $95100 - $124800 plus bonus
