MTS2 - Senior iOS Software Engineer

We are the Native Identity team in the Payments organization. The team is looking for a Senior iOS developer to lead a small team of engineers working on features that allow millions of users to securely sign-in and register on the eBay mobile applications. You'll be working with a world class team of engineers, designers, and product managers to create amazing new features on one of the world's most visited e-commerce sites.

Join our team of engineers who enjoy working on large-scale, challenging, and interesting problems. We work in small, focused, collaborative project teams following an agile methodology.

Job Requirements

• 8+ years of iOS software development experience
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams
• Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures and algorithms.
• Strong know-how in object-oriented software design and patterns
• Strong iOS programming skills. Deep understanding of the iOS SDK, Swift, and Objective-C.
• Strong knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architecture, trends, and emerging technologies
• Writing clean, simple, and tested code to support new product features.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, refactoring, standards and improving build and test systems
• Collaborate with colleagues in San Jose (Occasional travel required).
• Participate in sprint meetings, code reviews, UI design reviews and other feature related meetings.
• Evangelize, mentor, and promote mobile development standard methodologies throughout the company
• Provide scope on proposed features and bug fixes. This includes estimation of effort, risk identification and mitigation, possible alternate solutions.
