Axogen is hiring for a remote National Sales Training Manager!Â
Job Summary of the National Sales Training Manager
The National Sales Training Manager will provide training and support to the Axogen sales force, supporting new representatives to exceed sales goals through clinical proficiency and core competencies. Provide content, support, and guidance for sales meetings that encourage continued learning and skill advancement. Create standards and metrics for measuring sales productivity.Â
Requirements of the National Sales Training Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of medical sales experience, preferably medical implants, operating room, catheterization lab, or wound care.
- Previous training experience preferred.
- Experience within the nerve repair market preferred.
- Showcased success in driving sales through educating surgeons utilizing a playbook that can be transferred to others.
- Proven presentation and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects.
- Ability to communicate with a direct selling organization and corporate partners at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and desire to do overnight travel 75% of the time and reside within 60 miles of an international airport to maximize travel efficiencies.
Responsibilities of the National Sales Training Manager
The specific duties of the National Sales Training Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Works with training leadership and Regional Sales Directors to guarantee that the Axogen sales force is trained to core competencies and clinical proficiency.
- Serves as a subject matter expert who leads and facilitates technique training, sales skills training, and product training.
- Ensures business objectives are being met by consistently working with the Regional Sales Directors and the sales team to close the business to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue goals.
- Contributes, collaborates, builds, and delivers Mid-year Meetings, National Sales Meeting, and Primary Training content.
- Assists Regional Sales Directors with post-primary training debriefs, field visits, and coaching opportunities.
- Participates in interviews as requested.
- Collaborates with Regional Sales Directors to address training and developmental needs, including but not limited to co-travels.
- Collaborates with the commercialization team and CTS as assigned by training leadership.
- Collaborates on building out Secondary Training and continuing education modules for US Directs and Independents.
- Supports efforts to build out internal professional development.
- Complies with all company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor.
- Facilitates and delivers Primary Training in conjunction with the Sales Curriculum and Resource Training Manager.

Compensation
The anticipated base wage or salary range for this position is $77,044 - $96,305.
The anticipated range for target compensation in the form of an annual bonus of 10% of base.Â

Axogen is on a hybrid work schedule at some facilities, with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.Â
