The Network Architect for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for developing network and related architectures and solutions based on requirements from offering, engineering, and operations, as well as internal & external customers.

This position is part of the Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) located at Corporate HQ in Brea, California and will be either hybrid or fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Global Network Services (GNS) team and report to the IT Network Manager responsible for network architecture and service delivery covering 150 remote sites globally, 5 data centers, and an ever-growing Cloud footprint. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide technical leadership for Global Network Services team.
• Owner of network technology roadmap includes technology watch, vendor selection, best practices adaption, drive standardization, automation, and engineering validation in the lab.
• Interact with the various business units to gather requirements, solutions to meet emerging business needs.
• Lead enterprise-wide projects in relation to design and provisioning of network components.
• Collaborate with IT Leadership and Business partners to assess near- and long-term network capacity needs.
• Work closely with global network team, security team and enterprise architecture (EA) team in defining current and future technology standards.
• Travel 10% of the year

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years experience in field OR Master's degree in field with 7+ years of experience OR Doctoral degree with 4+ years experience with
• Technical requirements: Silverpeak/Aruba SDWAN, Juniper networking (switches, firewalls, MIST wifi, Aruba wifi), BGP & OSPF routing protocol, Load balancer (F5 or equivalence)
• Take ownership of the service delivery process for network components, manage the lifecycle of configuration templates and software versions
• Lead network team in design and standardization of company LAN, WAN, SDWAN and wireless networks.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Juniper JNCIP-ENT certification
• Cloud networking (AWS & Azure)
• Network automation, scripting and capacity planning, VPN, firewalls & packet analysis

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $130,000-$145,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
