This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work.

The IT Network Manager is a technical management position in the Digital Office Infrastructure & Operations department that is responsible for managing the technical and administrative support & management for all enterprise networking functions within HD. They will ensure the network infrastructure and components provide a highly scalable and resilient platform for the company that aligns with business needs.

The position is responsible for execution network projects, ongoing operations and overall enterprise networking service delivery. This management position is responsible for the networking staff, contractors, and vendor management and relationships. The Manager will ensure technology requests are initiated properly, oversee the daily support activities, manage deployed services and integrate processes to achieve targets and metrics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for 24x7x365 support of all enterprise networking functions (Internet, LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, telecommunications platforms, Wireless, Cloud networking, etc.)
  • Responsible for team management, staff development, and ensuring the staffing levels meet the required service levels for the entire company.
  • Oversees a team that troubleshoots issues that often include heavy interaction between one or more of the following: enterprise applications, systems administration, databases, operating systems and connected partner networks.
  • Provides guidance and network advisory services to the business units and various departments within HD. This role will be the face of the network to the business.
  • Engages with vendors/suppliers on ongoing support, strategic initiatives, and manages service level commitments from partners.
  • Ensures usage of ITIL principles in the team's daily work around service management.
  • Support Digital Infrastructure & Operations teams to ensure minimal to no impact to ongoing operations.
  • Accountable for managing the shared services and results of service operations based on defined service levels and key performance reporting to establish and execute on continuous improvement action plans
Education Requirements

  • Bachelor degree required
  • Master's degree is a plus
  • Certifications in Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are a plus
Experience Requirements

  • 8 + years of information technology experience.
  • 8 + years of network administration/engineering and operations experience in a distributed location, geographically disperse production environment.
  • 4 + years management experience with direct reports
  • Strong knowledge of all networking technologies (Internet, LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, telecommunications platforms, Wireless, Cloud networking, etc.)
Preferred

  • Network management with Microsoft Azure in a hybrid cloud deployment.
  • Previous management of a remote, dispersed workforce, including offshore staff
  • ITIL Foundations Certification

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
