Your Impact
This is a leadership role with opportunity for rapid professional growth and the chance to contribute to the success of a software startup with accelerated growth inside a public company. You will collaborate with the broader Software Services & Sales teams to plan and administer successful training at agencies on the Axon Records Management Systems and/or Axon Respond Dispatch Systems. You will lead a client facing, cross-functional team to deliver on the overall Software Solutions. Training is one of the most critical steps in the implementation process, critical to the change management and acceptance of the agency employees at all levels in the organization. You will succeed through strong leadership, collaboration, planning, strategy and execution skills.
What You'll Do
· Engage with technology users and decision makers (Chiefs of Police, Command staff, Sheriffs, Directors of IT, Records Supervisors and Clerks, Police Officers, etc.) and program managers pre and post-sale during the implementation process.
· Participate in pre-sales efforts including customer presentations, RFP | RFI responses, solution demonstrations and deployment plan creation.
· Define and administer software deployment training plans including client relationship management and project scope, schedule, budget, requirement traceability, and risk analysis.
· Influence and guide cross-functional deployments team to deliver on time, under budget, and exceed agency expectations to result in reference customers.
· Provide structure and clarity where there is ambiguity in customer needs, implementation process and product lifecycle development.
· Manage project scope on behalf of the agency including identifying stakeholder for all key project roles, implementing and managing project timeline, communications, and status updates.
· Document customer feature requests and issues, providing feedback to leaders and other key stakeholders.
· Maintain agency-facing and internal project dashboards, communicating progress, identify, manage and escalate risks, and ensuring end-to-end success of the implementation.
· Contribute to the strategy planning and execution as key member of the SWSS leadership team.
What You Bring
· Minimum 5 years leading teams in complex environments
· 5 years of project and program management experience in complex customer-facing software product delivery.
· Demonstrated exceptional customer relationship management skills with a track record of aligning stakeholders and driving fast-moving, rapidly changing programs.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to structure projects, define milestones, and align stakeholders.
· Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, organizational leadership or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Computer Aided Dispatch or Records Management Enterprise Software
· B2B SaaS program management. Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus.
· Project Management Certification strongly preferred (e.g. PMP, CAPM, CSM, etc.)
· MBA or advanced degree
· Self-starter who thrives with problem-solving and embraces ambiguity
· Enthusiasm and commitment to AXON's Mission, Core Values, and Program Mission

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 81,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 144,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 91,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 163,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
