Operations Representative

First Entertainment is seeking a motivated Operations Representative to join our Operations team. This role will be responsible for our Legal Desk; with a primary focus on the areas of Levies, Subpoenas, Backup Withholding, IRAs, and Cash Ordering, and will assist in other areas within the Operations department as assigned. The Operations Representative will play a crucial role in ensuring our day-to-day operational tasks are completed timely and accurately while maintaining a high level of member satisfaction.

This full-time, hybrid opportunity reporting to the Associate Manager, Operations is based in Hollywood, CA. The target starting hourly rate is between $23.96 and $29.95 in California.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate and manage daily activities related to Levies, Subpoenas, Dormant & Escheatment, ATM and Branch Cash Orders, GL Balancing, and Back-up Withholding (W-9).

· Serves as a liaison for various vendors, such as Baker Tilly US, FTSI, Garda cash ordering team.

· Maintain compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.

· Adhere to established SLAs for escalation items via internal communication channels.

· Respond to member inquiries and contact members accordingly while ensuring member experience is achieved.

· Maintain current job aids and escalate to leadership if opportunities for improvements are identified.

· Assist with process improvements by developing procedure enhancements to increase effectiveness and efficiency.

· Serve as backup for other functions in the Operations Department as assigned.

· Perform any other assigned duties as needed

Requirements

· A minimum 5 years of work-related experience in a full-service financial institution or experience in a related position in a related field.

· In-depth knowledge of Credit Union products and services, procedures and guidelines, and field of membership requirements.

· Thorough knowledge of regulations applicable to essential responsibilities.

· Ability to read, speak and write clearly to convey information effectively.

· Effective communication skills across all levels of audience.

· Knowledge of how to use a personal computer and MS Office products on a daily basis (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Symitar for Windows (Episys).
