What is the IT Order Management and Purchasing Team and why join?

The Order Management and Procurement Team lies at the heart of our supply chain, playing a critical role in building and supporting the systems that ensure the reliable and seamless creation and management of one million orders annually. What will you be doing?

You will join the IT Order Management and Procurement team, to assist in the effective delivery of technically excellent solutions to our customers. You will collaborate with Analysts and stakeholders to support & enhance our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ERP and related applications.

Responsibilities:

• Work on enhancement projects and support tasks on Oracle EBS, SOA, PL/SQL, Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Node.JS, Vue.JS, and middleware such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.

• Work with functional and technical team members on design, development, and support activities.

• Learn custom components developed on Oracle EBS and PL/SQL. Work on enhancements using Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle EBS objects.

• Work on custom objects and integrations using technologies such as Java Spring Boot, JavaScript, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and others.

• Participate in system design discussions and development plans.

• Participate in the development and support of various supply chain applications.

• Participate in developing and supporting interfaces between various applications and Oracle Cloud ERP.

• Work closely with other developers and analysts to ensure development meets requirements and delivers optimal performance to our end users.

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and technical partners to scope the opportunities, identify constraints, and help mitigate risks.

• Follow agile development methodology and participate in agile ceremonies with the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, MIS, or a technical-related field.

• Hands-on experience with software development, including detailed software design, developing code with unit tests to implement the design, and correcting flaws based on requirements testing.

• Must have experience in Oracle EBS, PL/SQL, Java, and JavaScript.

• Nice to have experience in SOA and or similar technologies.

• Some knowledge or experience of the supply chain (especially expertise and experience in Order Management and Purchasing processes) is a big plus.

• Have a proper agile development mindset.

• Willingness to continue to learn and acquire new skills.
