Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) is seeking a Non-operative Sports Medicine physician to join its expanding Orthopedic department. Our Orthopedic team is made up of multiple physicians and advanced practitioners with sub-specialties in Trauma, Sports - Surgical, Non operative Sports, Adult Reconstruction, Hand and Foot and Ankle. In addition, we have a robust Athletic Trainer team that supports multiple schools. Our team’s focus is driven around being leaders in education, centered on evidenced based medicine while ensuring consistent collaboration and communication within the team and the community and patients we serve. The DHMG Orthopedic Department works in partnership with multiple school districts and colleges across the Phoenix market to provide medical coverage and athletic trainer support. The Orthopedic department is growing quickly and we are looking for a highly motivated physician to join the team!

Position Details:
Based out of Clinics in Central and West Valley Phoenix
Monday-Friday clinic
Friday Night High School football game coverage required
Grand Canyon University club sports coverage
Grand Canyon University Division 1 coverage
Minimum Requirements
- MD/DO
- Fellowship Training and American Board Certification in Non-operative Sports Medicine
- Must have or be eligible for Arizona state medical license
- Acceptable completion of an ACGME accredited residency program with current ABMS board certification
- 3-5 years experience working with team sports, Division I collegiate experience highly desirable
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations
