PaaS Compute and Storage Senior Manager - Work from home

Job Duties:

• Team lead for engineering and operations of the infrastructure supporting Cigna's strategic growing container platform.
• Team will work with strategic vendors on selecting optimized technology to support the container environment. Define infrastructure template for growth, perform POCs, engineer solutions, operationalize and support the growing environment.
• Responsible for Hardware Life Cycle management program, optimizing unit cost of platform, and firmware currency.
• Certification of new versions of firmware and hypervisors.
• Responsible for working with teams on capacity planning and hardware purchases.
• Evolve platform to ensure workloads are spread across fault domains to align with application and business level service level objectives.
• Define SLOs and cost transparency

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated background in infrastructure technologies (preferably container technology)
• Prior experience in a people leadership position
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Prior experience with building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 136,500 - 227,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
