Paid Search and Social Manager
Paid Search and Social Managers are the day-to-day focal point of the account. They are expected to have a complete and unquestioned understanding of their assigned clients search initiatives and client’s overall business and marketing objectives. The Paid Search and Social Manager is steward of the planning process and is expected to provide mid-level strategic recommendations to the Sr. Director of Search, sales and/or the client. The position is usually supported by the Associate Paid Search Manager
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Finance, or Economics preferred
- 3 years’ experience in the search digital space
- 2 + years’ hand on experience buying media through Google and Bing, proven track record of exceeding client’s goals
- Direct Response experience preferred but not required
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and advanced skills in excel – pivot tables, chart making, etc.
Duties:
- Provide recommendations on budget planning for renewals and new accounts based on the Google keyword and Matchcraft estimator tools
- Keyword analysis – build keyword lists, analyze search volume and make recommendations
- In-platform setup of paid search campaigns
- Text creative copywriting for paid search
- Day-to-day management of performance including oversight of bid recommendations, execution details, budgets/accounting to meet goals and KPIs of clients
- Maintain and track ROI and ad spend across all accounts on a monthly basis
- Keep up to date with best practices, bid management systems, keyword development tools and industry research
- Pull and analyze daily campaign reports
- Generate monthly reporting and performance insights that lead to gains against client business objectives
- Join and lead client kick off calls
- Training of associate search managers and oversight of their deliverables, inclusive of 1:1s
- Support CS Managers, Leads and Sellers on all search issues
- Interface weekly with platform reps for smooth planning, execution and optimization of campaigns
- Assist the senior team members with product roll outs and presentations
