About The Position

At Globalization Partners we are in high-growth mode; we doubled in size last year and plan to continue this pace for the next five years. Given our aggressive charter, we are looking for an Accounting/Advisory Firm (“Big 4”) Partner Director who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of the Americas team, you will be responsible for developing new alliances with the largest advisory firms including KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, and Ernst & Young, and nurturing those relationships over time to yield results and deliver exceptional value back to those firms and their clients.  All of these firms have created a “Global Mobility Practice” – which brings together a services offering around tax, technology, immigration and global administrations – all of which are focused on helping companies manage a global workforce more effectively.  G-P’s value proposition aligns very well with this offering.

What You Can Expect to Do:

• Develop and nurture new strategic alliances with the known “Big 4” firms (Deloitte, EY, PwC, and KPMG).
• Build and retain positive relationships with existing partners to understand their business requirements, strategic vision, and to maintain partner relationship.
• Handle ongoing matters with new and existing partners and work swiftly to resolve queries.
• Communicate effectively, set real expectations and reliably complete agreed deliverables.
• Organize, build, and document a partnership program, with clear directions and details around features and benefits.
• Train, enable, and onboard these firms, creating a high level of awareness on current and future developments to our tech-enabled solutions.
• Communicate and work directly with stakeholders within the organization including Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Finance experts globally.
• Research, strategize, propose, and negotiate with our partners to create agreements that make sense for everyone.
• Travel as needed within the U.S. and Internationally for in-person meetings, to attend weekend and evening networking events.
• Up to 30% travel outside of the designated home office geography.

What We Are Looking For:

• Excellent familiarity with the Big 4 Accounting Firms.
• Ability to develop a deep understanding of what these firms care about, how that aligns with G-P's Employer of Record solutions, and build a trusted, long-term relationship with these firms. (Read: You know who runs those firms, the mobility practice, how they are different from each other, and what will make them want to talk with you!)
• Top notch communication skills, judgement, and discretion. You know when to pitch and when to listen. You know how to add value when following up.
• You are results oriented and constantly looking for ways to improve your skills.
• Knowledge of employment law, corporate rules, and other commercial regulation relevant to HR and business expansion an advantage.
• HR industry experience, with domain knowledge of the HR and Corporate Services industry, an advantage.
• Experience building strong partnerships with senior business stakeholders and working cross-functionally with a direct sales organization.
• Data-driven, analytical, and research-oriented.
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills; able to articulate complex concepts at both a high level and granular perspective where necessary.
• Preferred candidate location in the East Coast area of the U.S. 
• You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
