Partner Marketing Intern

The Basics: 

Tanium’s Global Partner Marketing Team is looking for a full-time Global Partner Marketing intern for a 10-week summer internship. The Global Partner Team is responsible for helping lead the growth of our multifaceted partner ecosystem – Global System Integrators, MSPs, Solutions Providers, and Distributors. Tanium’s global growth and scale will be driven by our partner first strategy. 

During your internship, you will report to the Sr. Global Partner Marketing Manager and have direct exposure to the entire Global Partner Marketing Team. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with a passion for campaign development, executing global marketing campaigns, and assisting the global partner marketing team with administrative tasks such as tracking, measuring, and evaluating program performance to ensure ROI (return on investment). 

The Partner Marketing intern will also be responsible for building relationships with internal stakeholders including the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific partner marketing teams, field marketing, marketing operations, creative, partner enablement, and the partner programs team. 

What you’ll do: 

• Work with the team on development and execution of global campaigns, partner marketing campaigns “in-a-box,” and sales plays to drive demand generation programs.  
• Work on special projects assigned by the Sr Directors of the Global Partner Marketing team to support the overall global marketing plan. 
• Project manage the development of partner-facing content and collateral globally. 
• Update, maintain, and create new resources in the Tanium Partner Portal to support global partner marketing objectives. 
• Provide support for events (both virtual and in-person) that engage our partners and their customers 
• Track partner engagement metrics, including leveraging reporting, dashboards, and campaign functionality in Salesforce. 
• Manage partner swag program, including vendor management and sourcing new items to engage our partner community. 
• Provide marketing support and coordination for a wide range of marketing activities including webinars, virtual events, social media, internal, and external newsletters. 
• Align closely with Tanium partner marketing, program activation, partner sales and operations teams to ensure flawless execution and coordination of global partner marketing activities and programs. 
• Available full-time for Summer 2023 

We're looking for someone who is:

• Bachelor’s Degree candidate, majoring in business or a related field (e.g. Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.) with a minimum GPA of 3.50
• Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future
• Available to work full-time from June 12, 2023 to August 18, 2023 
• A currently enrolled undergraduate student
• Graduating Spring 2024 or Fall 2023

• Project management skills and strong attention to detail 
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills 
• Team player with proven track record in working effectively with cross-functional teams
