Partner Technology Strategy Team Manager - Global Systems Integrators

The Americas Global Partner Solutions (GPS) Tech Team is focused on building the most profitable and impactful partner ecosystem in the world. We help our partners build innovative technical solutions, develop their technical skills & abilities, and successfully sell & deploy with our joint customers.

As an Americas GPS Partner Technology Strategist Team Manager, you will focus on providing business, operational, and strategic leadership to Partner Technology Strategists who support Microsoft Services Partners.

Role location is flexible, including hybrid work-from-home, and may require up to 25% domestic and international business travel.

Qualifications:

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 8+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience.

o OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 6+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience.

o OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 12+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience.

o OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 8+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience.

o OR equivalent experience.

• 8+ years experience with relevant technologies (e.g., cloud, infrastructure, Microsoft platform).
• 3+ years people management experience.
• Previous experience in the GPS Americas Business

Partner Technology Strategy M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 - $242,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 - $264,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

As the Partner Technology Strategy Team Manager - Global Systems Integrators

• You will provide industry and business expertise and leadership to help the team lead Partner strategy around Microsoft solutions that are aligned partner priorities and help our partners grow successful busineses with Microsoft.
• You will manage a team of Technical Strategists working with Systems Integrators.
• You will lead your team's use and evolution of practices & experiences related to engineering, product development, partner ecosystem development, deployment activation, and decision enablement.
• You will drive setting Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for a your team of strategists focused on the breadth of Microsoft technologies. You'll be responsible for delivering, tracking, and reporting on OKR attainment each quarter.
• You will drive a culture of collaboration with your team, your peer Partner Solution Architecture teams, cross-GPS managers, field sales leadership, and product engineering to ensure a healthy pipeline of partner engagement aligned to Microsoft's priority plays and sales goals.
• Provide team and people leadership through our Model, Coach, Care Framework; the Microsoft Leadership Principles; and leading your team's Diversity & Inclusion core priority. You will particiapte in core aspects of People Management: hiring, career development, performance feedback, rewards, and awards on a regular basis.
• You'll regularly engage with partner leadership and create a strategy to influence decision makers.
