The Partnership Manager is responsible for leading the organization in implementing and developing commercial and strategic relationships with organizations in accordance with the company's overarching objectives, strategic goals and strategies. As the Partnership Manager at Aspire, you will be primarily responsible for recruiting and acquiring new resellers, training and supporting them, coordinating activities between the two companies and identifying and pursuing joint sales opportunities.
The Partnership Manager will actively liaise with partners to solve issues, communicate needs and create synergy. This role will analyze and report on partner initiatives, forecast for strategic changes and report on key metrics.
What You'll Do:
- Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management
- Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outreach
- Being knowledgeable in the partners product, company and industry to fully understand the relationship that will exist in the development of the partnership
- Research partner landscape, identify key players and generate interest
- Being a great salesperson and sales coach for Aspire
- Being an advocate for the partner when issues arise
- Collaborate with senior management and other marketing/product teammates to align our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships
- Provide key leadership to negotiation and finalize deals in accordance with company's guidelines and policies
- Deliver a great experience to our partners when working with our organization - you will represent our brand and be our partners' liaison internally
- Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships
- Drive revenue and profitability from our partnerships
- Getting partnerships off on the right foot and integrating all partners into the community, Aspire Together
- Keep great ongoing relationships with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication or similar relevant field required. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience working as an Outreach and/or Partnerships Manager.
- Experience working at technology-oriented company.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strategic thinker.
- Networking aptitude.
- Great multitasking skills.
- Attention to details.
Where You'll Work:
Our headquarters is located in Chesterfield in St. Louis County; however, some local positions will be remote until the time is right to return to the office while other roles are more office-based. Fully remote employees will stay remote.
