IDS is currently seeking a mid-level Systems Administrator Engineer for the PCTE Cyber TRIDENT program. The Cyber TRIDENT IDIQ is utilized by Department of Defense (DOD) organizations and other non-DOD agencies that have related cyber training needs. The Cyber TRIDENT IDIQ provides the management, integration, maintenance, and evolution for the PCTE platform, and provides total system/subsystem acquisition life cycle support for the PCTE system baseline. 

One of the objectives of this program is to provide Infrastructure and Maintenance for the evolving PTCE Platform. This position is located in Orlando, Florida. The role is on-site only.

Responsibilities:

• Aid in developing the deployment strategy for technical patch management of desktop systems residing on the Platform.
• Schedule and deploy patches to workstations connected to the Platform.
• Provide possible backout strategies for each patch deployment in the event unforeseen errors occur, or unacceptable risk associated with a patch requires its removal.
• Perform Quality Checks (QC) for processes utilized by other technicians. Document all processes developed and authorized for use as part of the Technical Operations Management (TOM) guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and correct software problems to include resolving conflicts between applications, hardware and/or device conflicts, and operating system faults. Detects and removes computer viruses. Restores and repairs damaged critical data files. Resolve most operating problems and refer only the very unusual problems to appropriate level for solution.
• Prepare documentation/user instructions for microcomputer databases and applications software as necessary.
• Aid in the development, maintenance, and modification of the TOM governing Aid in the development of computer procedures and tests for possible operation and implementation.
• Aid in developing updates and maintenance procedures for the systems deployed patch management.
• Perform ongoing test and performance validation of the PCTE RCS at the designated site.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field or equivalent years experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years relevant, professional experience.

• Hold an active Top Secret Security clearance.
