This People Business Partner Director role will be a strategic thought partner for our Technology and G&A leaders, driving the alignment of our business initiatives and people programs. Keeping Human Interest’s high performance culture at the forefront of how we develop, manage and reward our employees, the People Business Partner Director will provide expertise on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, employee retention and employee development. This is a solution oriented role that uses data and drives insights to attract, develop and retain exceptional talent.
What you get to do every day
- Build strong and trusting relationships with our key business leaders
- Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning and headcount management to support future business needs and goalsÂ
- Build and deliver talent assessment tools to identify key talent and generate talent retention and performance management strategies
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to determine hiring profiles and attract high potential candidates
- Work closely with the Total Rewards team to develop and deploy competitive reward strategies
- Inform and deliver talent development programs including succession planning and individual growth plansÂ
- Utilize data and analysis of people metrics to drive data-driven insights around attrition, growth and retention
- Provide coaching to resolve key employee issues and lead thorough, objective investigations as needed.Â
- Act as a culture champion, keeping the Human Interest Way at the heart of our people programs.Â
What you bring to the role
- 10+ years of People Business Partner experience, supporting technical organizations preferredÂ
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceÂ
- Demonstrated ability to translate key business objectives and needs to support leadership and effectively drive people programs
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environmentÂ
- Proven success driving effective change management strategies, with demonstrated ability to guide employees and leaders through periods of change, mitigate resistance and build a resilient and agile organizational culture.Â
- Deep experience in handling complex employee issuesÂ
- Experience partnering directly with COEs on program development and delivery strategiesÂ
- Experience navigating various HR systems; experience with Paycor, Greenhouse, ChartHop, GoogleSuite a plus
- Strong communication and influencing skills, including facilitation of people programs

Compensation - At Human Interest, there are a number of factors that are used to determine the appropriate pay range for each position. We take into account the cost of labor for each position in various markets across the US. The base salary for this position spans from a minimum of $180,000Â in our lowest geographic region to a maximum of $190,000Â in our highest geographic region. The salary that we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the US, their relevant job-related skills, and experience. At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall Total Rewards package. Depending on the position, additional compensation components such as bonus, commission, and equity may be offered.
