Job Summary
The People Experience organization is looking for a new team member who is passionate about providing a meaningful employee experience for our employees. This role will be focused on creating impactful people communications while showcasing excellent writing and storytelling skills to engage a diverse and distributed workforce. On the digital side, you will be asked to develop and sustain an innovative people portal content management strategy to enhance engagement and collaboration. Acting as a change agent, you will be part of our change management office team supporting enterprise-wide company transformation initiatives. To support the future of work and ongoing sustainment efforts, you will be involved with research and benchmarking for people policy and process initiatives. Reporting to the Director, People Experience, you will be part of a small but mighty team who collaborates with all centers of excellence within the People Operations organization.
Work Model
This position has the option to be fully remote anywhere within the United States.
What You'll Be Doing
People Operations' Communications and Digital Initiatives:
  • Strategize with People Operations' Centers of Excellence (COE) to develop comprehensive People Operations' communications projects and marketing campaigns
  • Craft targeted and impactful messaging to drive employee engagement
  • Assess and maintain strategic deployment cadence for People Operations communications portfolio in partnership with Director, People Experience, corporate broadcast calendar, and People Operations' COE
  • Create and manage monthly Managers' Experience Communications Series by maintaining editorial content, and producing and distributing monthly newsletter
  • Responsible for People Operations' digital communications strategy
    • Manage people portal design and content management for seven internal sites (e.g., People Operations, Manager Experience Portal, Future of Work, People Operations Teams site, Workday Resource Center, upcoming Employee Experience and Change Management sites)
  • Oversee People Operations' corporate reporting responsibilities
    • Produce People Operations' End of Month report for Executive Team, Enterprise Services and People Operations
    • Facilitate quarterly content development and review of People Operations' President's Report for Board of Trustees

Employee Experience:
  • Create Aerospace employee experience strategy and messaging
    • Research, propose and sustain ongoing employee experience communication approach
    • Oversee design, development and management of new employee experience portal
  • Design, develop, and deploy non-monetary peer-to-peer recognition program in collaboration with Benefits organization
  • Perform as People Operations' Site Council representative; ensure comprehensive knowledge of People Operations strategy and offerings, and facilitate monthly People Operations updates at Site Council meetings

Change Management Office (CMO):
  • Perform as change agent for People Operations' projects and other enterprise transformation initiatives
  • Represent the CMO on the Workday Organization Change and Training team
  • Benchmark and research change management best practices and apply to new CMO Toolkit and overall CMO strategic approach
  • Design, develop and deploy new change management portal

Policy and Process:
  • Collaborate on organization and documentation of quarterly policy and process adjustments
  • Facilitate content development and revisions for the policy website and People Playbook
  • Conduct benchmarking and research, and provide recommendations for policy compliance and enhancement

What You Need to be Successful
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in internal communications, change management and/or human resources
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Advanced PowerPoint expertise including ability to design graphically engaging visual content
  • Experience with website design and content management
  • Strategic thinker; creative mindset; growth mindset
  • Ability to evolve conceptual plans to working models
  • Excellent organizational skills; meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills; strong presentation skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills

How You Can Stand Out
  • Prosci certification in change management and application of Prosci practices in a business environment
  • Experience working in an internal employee or human resources' communications role
  • Experience in human resources policy and process design and development
  • Experience with Workday platform
  • Experience with developing internal communications campaigns

We offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.

$75,000 - $87,500 - $100,000
Pay Basis: Annual
