The opportunity:

Parsley Health is hiring an experienced People Operations Senior Manager to focus on all employee lifecycle operations including, but not limited to, onboarding, off-boarding, compliance, policy development, enhancement and management, and leave management. In this role, the Senior Manager will be responsible for managing the current state of programs, systems, and processes to identify opportunities to streamline and scale through leveraging People systems and technology. As a partner to key stakeholders, this role is responsible for simplifying work, supporting employees, and improving the overall people experience throughout the employee lifecycle.

What you’ll do:

  • Employee Support
    • Serve as the front line for inbound employee questions, engaging People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and People leaderships to provide meaningful and timely resolutions.
    • Ensure employees are flourishing at the company by being responsive to employee requests, by designing and rolling out programs that support employees, and by helping employees succeed in their roles 
    • Deliver best-in class employee support 
  • People Compliance/Policies
    • Create new and update existing policies, practices, procedures, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; coordinate with external legal counsel as needed 
    • Partner with People Business Partners on creation of various employment documents, including clinical contract renewals, updates to employee agreements, and other documents 
    • Manage all LOAs and ensure employees have the information and support they need
    • Create and roll out an Employee Handbook 
  • Payroll/Benefits/Compensation 
    • Accountable for successful management of payroll system (Justworks), processing and overseeing exempt and non-exempt payroll, and payroll records to ensure data integrity and accuracy with all People data
    • Partner with Finance and stakeholders to process incentive compensation 
    • Manage international payroll with designated 3rd party vendors
    • Partner in the development, implementation, and administration of Parsley Health’s compensation philosophy and programs, policies, and procedures aligned to this philosophy
    • Own and manage compensation functions, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development and incentive plan design 
    • Ensure benefit plans are competitive and renewals are timely and cost effective; run open enrollment  
    • Provide management support to the business in the areas of people metrics, reporting, dashboarding, and essential predictive analytics
  • Parsley’s People Programs
    • Own the new hire Onboarding process, including New Hire Orientation and setting new hires up for success 
    • Create and manage programs to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other milestones
  • Parsley’s HR Tech Stack 
    • Responsible for managing relationship and escalations with PEO (Justworks) 
    • Run engagement surveys, ensuring question consistency for trend analysis, and data controls for sharing reports
    • Maintain the HR systems so that the P&C team operates efficiently 
  • Contingent Workers and Employee Immigration 
    • Define Contingent Worker types, review current process for requesting and gaining approval for Contingent Workers, and review Contingent Worker population to ensure compliance with local law 
    • Partner with external counsel to oversee the administration of all immigration cases
    • Proactively engage with employees to maintain valid immigration status 
    • Secure the appropriate work sponsorships for employees 

What You Bring to the Job:

  • Prior experience with HR-related systems including Justworks and CultureAmp
  • 6+ years of experience in People Operations 
  • Prior experience managing People Programs and people
  • Strong bias for action and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time 
  • Flexibility to adjust to a growing, mission-driven start-up environment
