The Performance Engineering Manager will be an integral part of our growing product team. They will bring expertise from a strong background in performance/load test automation to a growing and innovative organization. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) managing a team designing performance test cases, formulating workload models to simulate various application loads, analyzing test results for performance metrics and errors under load as well as analyzing production performance issues to help software engineers fix performance bottlenecks.

Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing performance testing strategies and plans
- Leading a team of performance testers and ensuring the quality of their work
- Identify and recommend performance testing tools to meet our performance testing needs
- Collaborating with development, database, and architect teams to identify performance bottlenecks
- Analyzing performance test results and presenting findings to the team/stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining performance testing tools and infrastructure
- Staying up to date with industry trends and new performance testing methodologies
- Design the Performance testing approach to certify the application changes before Production deployments
- Defining performance testing metrics and KPIs /scripts optimization to achieve efficient testing solutions
- Overseeing the development and execution of performance test cases and scripts
- Ensuring performance testing processes are efficient and effective
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years' experience in performance engineering.
- Strong experience in software development and performance testing
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Solid knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman
- Hands-on experience using performance testing software such as NeoLoad, JMeter, TestRunner, or WebLOAD
- Hands-on experience using NeoLoad is preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools – NewRelic, DataDog
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Hands-on knowledge of coding using JavaScript
- Microsoft stack, .NET, and C# hands-on knowledge is preferred
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of $135,000 to $145,000.
The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
