Role overview
We’re looking for a strong candidate to ramp up paid digital media across markets, products, and brands within the CarGurus’ family. In this Acquisition Marketing role, you will support performance marketing campaigns to efficiently grow traffic and conversions for our new brands and drive international expansion of our mobile app. You will work closely together with the Product, Engineering, and broader Marketing teams to bring to life and optimize critical traffic acquisition initiatives. A successful candidate will possess paid marketing experience, an outstanding analytical skillset, and an ability to thrive in a test-and-learn, fast-paced environment.Â
What you'll d
- Monitor and optimize paid performance campaigns (Paid Search, Social and Display) for our Autolist (US) and Piston Heads (UK) brands, and paid app
- Measure performance of existing initiatives and conduct data-driven analysis to identify optimization and growth opportunities
- Analyze market, competitive and media landscape dynamics to scope potential new acquisition channels
- Propose and manage tests in partnership with Product, Engineering and Marketing teams
- Communicate results, key insights and recommendations to key stakeholders and senior leadership
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical or marketing major with an excellent academic record
- 1-2 years of professional experience with a background in marketing; experience managing paid digital advertising campaigns
- Hands-On experience with Google AdWords and Facebook Business Manager (ability to create, deploy, and measure campaigns in each platform)
- Apple Search Ads and Mobile Install campaign experience a plus, but not required
- Experience in setting up campaign tags, pixels, and tracking parameters
- Google Tag Manager a plus, but not required
- Data-oriented thinker with excellent strategic, analytical, and critical thinking capabilities
- Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of statistics, advanced knowledge a plus
- SQL and business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau) strongly preferred
